Mike Gones established
his civil engineering company in 1986 after working for six years as
the assistant building official and land development engineer for the
City of Santa Barbara. With a strong focus on civil and structural
engineering, Gones’ company specializes in all
aspects of custom residential work, including land development, site
planning, building design and construction inspection. Many of his civil engineering projects incorporate various stormwater management techniques aimed at minimizing storm water runoff, storing stormwater for landscape purposes, recharging the groundwater basin, and providing on site pollutant filtration. Philisophically, the company is headed toward utilizing a low impact development approach to the future projects. Mike
Gones received his engineering degree from the University of Missouri
and has been registered as a Professional Engineer in California since
1983. In addition to his work as an assistant building official and
land development engineer for the City of Santa Barbara, Gones has
also served as the assistant manager of the Pittsburgh Testing Laboratory
in Seattle and previously was licensed as a special inspector for concrete
and timber piles. |
