R&M Technologies is a local, specialty business founded in 1999 by life-time Santa Barbara resident, Richard Dean. They believe in supporting the Santa Barbara community; as such they prefer to hire and do business locally. All R&M employees and subcontractors live in this beautiful city and are supported to do so by being paid a living wage. Their vision in the renewable energy field is to provide customers with cost effective and reliable solutions that reduce pollution in the environment, thereby preserving and promoting a healthy life and planet. R&M Technologies designs, installs, and services solar electric systems for both utility tied and off-grid customers. While simple grid-tied systems make up the majority of their installations, they specialize in grid-tied systems with battery back-up (for ultimate autonomy), and complete off-grid systems. They also design solar water pumping systems and are qualified to carry out comprehensive water analysis. R&M Technologies will administer all state rebate, utility interconnection, and local permitting procedures, as well provide information regarding state and federal tax incentives. R&M Technologies believes their customer service (before, during, and after a project), and their attention to individual needs, provides customer satisfaction at a superior level. Richard, the company’s engineer and designer, personally oversees all installations, providing one-stop answers to sales, installation, and technical questions. With a wide range of knowledge and approximately 19 years of professional experience, Richard holds degrees in Environmental Studies and Geography from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Memberships include: Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), Santa Barbara Contractor’s Association, and Tri-Counties Better Business Bureau. Richard also has been certified by the North American Board of Certified Energy Practioners (NABCEP). More information is available from www.rmtec.net, or by emailing: mail@rmtec.net |
